Hi there, welcome to Blormas — your go-to relaxing pattern-matching game rooted in the beauty of traditional umbrella art. We pour the same level of care into protecting your privacy as we do into hand-crafting every floral, geometric, and abstract pattern in our game. This policy lays out exactly what data we collect (if any), how we use it, and all the ways we keep your information safe, so you can focus on flipping cards and building your pattern album stress-free.
🎴 What We Keep Track Of (And Why)
We only collect data that directly improves your Blormas experience — no unnecessary information, ever:
-
Local Game Data (Default, Stored Only On Your Device)
When you play Blormas without creating an optional sync account, all of your game progress lives exclusively on your phone or tablet, and never touches our servers. This includes:- Levels you’ve unlocked, stars you’ve earned, and patterns you’ve added to your personal pattern album
- Custom cards you create using photos from your device library (we only access the single photo you explicitly select for card creation — we never scan or access other photos in your library, under any circumstances)
- Daily challenge completion history and unclaimed rare rewards
-
Optional Sync Account Data (Only If You Opt In)
If you choose to create a free account to sync your progress across devices, we only collect the minimal information needed to keep your data linked to your account:- A unique, anonymous account ID (you never need to provide your real name, email, or any personal identifying information to create an account if you don’t want to)
- An optional email address, only if you choose to provide it for account recovery purposes
- Your synced game progress, stored on fully encrypted servers
-
Anonymous Performance Data (Automatic, No Personal Identifiers)
To keep Blormas running smoothly for all players, we automatically collect non-identifiable data about app performance:- Device type and operating system version
- Game crash logs and error reports
- Aggregate usage metrics (like how many players complete Level 18, or how often custom cards are used) that help us balance levels and add features people enjoy
-
Optional Leaderboard Data (Only If You Choose To Participate)
If you opt to join our global daily challenge leaderboards to compete for limited-edition pattern rewards, you can create a custom display name (no real names required) that will be visible to other players. We only collect the score you earn for that day’s challenge, which you can delete at any time.
✨ How We Use Your Data
All of the data we collect is used exclusively to make Blormas a better, more enjoyable experience for you:
- Local data is used to keep your progress saved between game sessions, so you don’t lose your album or unlocked levels when you close the app
- Synced account data is only used to sync your progress across your devices, and to recover your account if you lose access to your device
- Performance data is used to fix bugs, optimize game speed, adjust haptic feedback and ambient sound effects, and design new levels and patterns that fit what players love
- Leaderboard data (if you opt in) is used to generate daily challenge rankings and distribute rare rewards to top players
We never use your data for any unrelated purposes, period.
🤝 Our Non-Negotiable Privacy Promises (What We *Never* Do)
We built Blormas to be a calm, stress-free space, and that extends to how we handle your data. There are a few things we will never, ever do, no matter what:
🎛️ Your Rights & Control Over Your Data
You have full, unrestricted control over every piece of data associated with your Blormas experience:
- You can delete all local game data (including progress, custom cards, and album content) at any time via the in-game settings menu
- If you have a sync account, you can request full deletion of all your synced data at any time by emailing us. We will process your request within 7 business days, with no residual backups kept
- You can enable or disable access to your device photo library, push notifications, or any other permissions at any time in your device settings. Disabling permissions will only block optional features (like custom card creation) — you can still play all core pattern-matching levels without granting any extra permissions
- If you participate in leaderboards, you can delete your display name and all past challenge scores at any time via the leaderboard settings
- If you contact us for support, you can request that we delete any support-related correspondence or information you provided at any time
🔧 Third-Party Tools We Use
We only work with third-party service providers that share our commitment to privacy, and we only share the minimal, non-identifiable data needed for them to perform their services:
- Crash reporting tools: To help us fix bugs quickly, we share anonymous crash logs with a trusted third-party error tracking service. These logs contain no personal identifying information
- Cloud hosting providers: If you opt into cloud sync, your synced data is stored on encrypted servers run by a reputable cloud hosting provider. They cannot access or use your data for any purpose outside of hosting it for Blormas
We never share any personal or identifiable data with any other third parties, including advertisers or data brokers.
📅 Policy Updates
We may update this privacy policy occasionally as we add new features to Blormas (like new pattern collections or custom card tools). If we make any changes that impact how we handle your data, we will notify you via an in-game pop-up at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
If you continue to use Blormas after the updated policy takes effect, you are agreeing to the new terms. If you do not agree with the updated policy, you can delete all your data and uninstall the game at any time.
